Since I don't know of any good way to scientifically determine input lag, I use the Tyson uppercut latency test and notice it's slightly more difficult to dodge Tyson's uppercuts in Mike Tyson's Punch Out based on reaction in mednafen than it is in nestopia. I noticed when using mednafen's nes emulation, there is a slightly higher amount of input latency than say Nestopia Linux.
